We have re-engineered our PE J2 driver In-Ear Monitor to take advantage of the latest technology available. Featuring our patent-pending IRIS and SSI technology. Our redesigned cable and mounting system ensures excellent durability and gives the PE J2 a great new look.

IRIS – Intelligent Resonance in Silicone is a patent-pending technology we have created to maximise the potential of miniature balanced armature speakers. IRIS construction methods allow for very precise acoustic tuning to deliver our unique sound signature. IRIS brings an added dimension to music in a way that mimics the warm, lush and open sound that valve amplifiers provide.
SSI – Sound Stage Imaging is a tuning technique achieved by using our own purpose-designed manifold technology. Implemented into our custom and universal in-earphones, SSI positions the audio into a wider array than other earphones, bringing a superbly defined and very detailed response to further enhance your listening experience, positioning all the instruments as if you were sitting in front of the stage listening to the live performance.
Not all cables are created equally
The cable fitted to your monitors is of the highest quality. Manufactured to our specification, each cable contains 80 strands of 100% oxygen-free copper, with each strand plated in pure silver. Aramid fibres (Kevlar) are woven into the twists to provide exceptional pulling strength and breaking strain. The sheathing on the cable is treated to dismiss harmful UV rays and will not discolour or oxidise like many other inferior cables. The design of the cable provides the best connectivity between your audio source and the earphones. When the cable is fitted in the lab it has optimum contact to the cable socket; therefore we strongly recommend that you don’t disconnect the cable unless it requires replacing.

A few words about care and maintenance:
We make our in-ear monitors with pride and like all things worth having, they are worth looking after. Just follow these simple rules and you should receive many years of trouble-free service.
Check the sound ducts after each use and use the wire pick supplied to remove any ear wax that has made its way into the tubing.
Never use the cables to remove the IEMs – this will eventually put a strain on the connector and will damage the cable.
Ensure moisture from either humidity or sweat is removed straight after use.

This will be my first ever custom in ear monitors and it was a good decision to go with Pacific Ears for my ACS Evoke 2 In ear monitors.
To begin with, I have been using Universal Earbuds/Monitors since and I keep loosing ear tips and being a casual musician playing drums, using universal fit monitors ends up keeping them in place while moving around.
I originally ordered the Single Driver model for a starter, but while waiting for my impressions arrived, the website introduced the two single driver model which they called Evoke 2 for a $100 difference so I jumped to this and updated my order. I have been dealing with Fleur from Pacific Ears and she is absolutely helpful and responsive towards my inquiries. Fleur arranged my audiologist visit for ear impressions and ensuring that it will arrive to them on time despite the COVID-19 situations. She keeps me updated until it was shipped out to me.
Pacific Ears used express shipping so they came extremely fast and safe to me.
Its been almost a day, I have been wearing these pair of custom in ear monitors. It was uncomfortable in the beginning but once it settles in for few minutes, you wont even feel they were there. It also comes with comfort cream for smooth placement. And with silicone material, its flexible.
Soundwise, its flat (which is good for audiophiles) and I was able to hear all details that I was hearing before. The highs and lows are great. Even it was pushed to my ear canal the bass wont exaggerate.
In conclusion, the product and their service is highly recommended.
