After placing your order on www.pacificears.com.au, we contact you with a list of fitting points in your area. We have locations throughout Australia to make the fitting process simple and accessible. Let us know which location is most convenient for you, and we will send you the details. Alternatively, you can arrange your own impressions with a local audiologist, and we will refund a fixed amount. We also provide an impression guide for your audiologist.

Please contact us if you already had your impressions made less than 3 years ago as we most likely will be able to reuse the impressions and give you a discount.

2. Book an Appointment

Our network includes professional audiologists and hearing clinics trained to take precise ear impressions. You can book your appointment at a time convenient for you.

3. Ear Impression Process

During the appointment, a professional will take impressions of your ears using safe, non-invasive methods. This process usually takes about 15–20 minutes.

4. Custom Crafting

Once your impressions are taken, they’re sent to our lab to create your custom-fit earplugs or earmolds. In most cases, the clinic sends them directly to us, but clients can send them too. Each hearing protection product is then meticulously crafted in our lab, ensuring a precise and comfortable fit tailored just for you.

5. Shipping

Once your earplugs are ready, they will be shipped to the address provided in your order. Please allow 10–15 days for delivery after we receive your ear impressions.

Are Ear Impressions Included in My Custom Product Purchase?

In most locations, the cost of ear impressions is included in the price of our custom products, though a small surcharge may apply in some areas.

We have a wide network of fitting points across Australia where you can have your ear impressions taken. After placing an order on our website, we provide the details of the nearest clinic. A qualified professional will take your impressions to ensure the perfect fit.

Where Can I Have My Impressions Taken for a Custom-Made Product?

Our extensive network of fitting points across Australia makes it easy to have impressions taken for custom products. Once you order through our website, we send you the details of the closest fitting point.

A qualified clinician will make your ear impressions and send them to us. In most cases, the fitting points send impressions directly to us. If not, you can send them to our PO box.

Ear impressions are included in the product price in most cases and are required for PACS Pro custom earplugs, Max Block earplugs, ER Musicians Earplugs, SleepSounds, Swimplugs, Custom Sleeves, Communication pieces and Monitors.

If you prefer, you can arrange impressions at a local audiologist, and we will refund a set amount to cover this (partly), along with providing an impression guide to facilitate the process.

Your Ear Impressions on File

We scan your ear impressions, and an electronic copy is usable for three years. If you want another product from our custom range, you can order directly from us—no need for new impressions! We even offer a discount. Please check with us to confirm if your impressions are still suitable for reuse.
