3. Impressions Taken: The clinician will take your impressions*. This is typically included in the price on our website. The impressions taken are sent to our lab.

* Are Ear Impressions Included?  Yes! In most locations, the cost of ear impressions is included in the product price. In some areas, a small surcharge may apply. We have a wide network of fitting points and clinics across Australia. After placing your order, we’ll provide the details of the nearest clinic for your convenience.

4. Product Delivery: Your custom earplugs will be expertly crafted and delivered to you within 1–2 weeks.

Etymotic MP9-15 MusicPro - Electronic Earplugs for Musicians

The Etymotic Music Pro Musicians Earplugs with Active Hearing Protection is designed for Musicians who want to hear naturally but need protection when hearing is at risk. Using active technology that constantly evaluates incoming sound the Music Pro gives you two modes of operation. The Low mode gives you transparent pass-through audio under 100db, with compression beginning at 70db. When the 90db threshold is passed it gives you 15db of attenuation for material above that level with a super-fast attack and release with the effect of only attenuating that sound. High Mode provides 9 dB of attenuation for loud sounds and 6 dB of gain (amplification) for soft sounds.

Adaptive Noise Reduction: Music•PRO circuitry automatically changes output levels as sound input levels change. Hearing is natural, as if nothing is in the ears, until sound exceeds safe levels. As sound levels increase, earplugs gradually provide 9- or 15-dB sound reduction. Natural hearing is restored when sound returns to safe levels.

Top-Tier Hearing Protection – Perfect for Musicians!

As a bass-player, I needed some proper hearing protection. So, I bought these Etymotic Research Music Pro 9-15 Electronic Earplugs a week ago. They work great, especially for listening to live music.
They also work well for playing music, however they do lower the bass frequencies more than the high-end frequencies. As a bass player and musician, it makes me want to turn up the bass a bit more. That being said, the Music Pro’s are a cut above the rest of the competition and are the best method of hearing protection I have tried. John S.
