The Music Pro Elite earplugs have two modes of operation, High and Low, which provide 9dB and 15dB of active attenuation. The MusicPro earplugs are designed for Musicians who want to hear naturally but need protection when hearing is at risk. Using active technology that constantly evaluates incoming sound, the Music Pro Elite earplugs give you two modes of operation. The Low mode gives you transparent pass-through audio under 90db, with compression beginning at 60db. When the 90db threshold is passed it gives you 15db of attenuation for material above that level with a superfast attack and release with the effect of only attenuating that sound.

If it’s a quick snare hit, you will hear the natural sound of everything else except that of the snare, which will be attenuated as briefly as it happens and then levels go back to normal. If it’s a steady guitar amplifier sound over 90db, the sound will be attenuated as long as it is present. In High mode you get 6db of natural level gain under 90db with 9db of attenuation over 90db. The battery life is unprecedented in that out of a single charge on the ear buds you get 16–20 hours of use and an extra 15+ charges out of the case itself. Essential for Music Teachers – Exceptional Sound and Comfort!
I’m a full-time music teacher and use these plugs 5 days/week for hours on end. The Music Pro’s have a long battery life. I've only needed to charge the case a couple of times, and I've had these for a few months. For (music)teaching, these are certainly a great tool and a must-have. The 6 B boost setting is what I mostly use, as it comes as close to “neutralizing” the sound in the room as you can get. Wearing these also prevents me from ear fatigue when listening to music instruments. Compared to moulded earplugs, these retain a lot of high end. Kim G.

Great earplugs.they are fitted to your ears so can't be compared to anything else out there. These are the best option on the market. Just wish they were little cheaper.
