Filtered Foam Shooting Earplugs feature ambient mesh technology, giving the user the ability to hear speech and maintain situational awareness.

Technology & Innovation

Developed for military use, Filtered Foam Shooting is ANSI IPIL certified for impulse noise up to 166 dB, providing 38 dB of attenuation. When sound peaks are not present, Filtered Foam Shooting provides 13 dB NRR attenuation of ambient sounds, allowing orientation and communication, which is of critical importance for Law Enforcement Officers, Professional Operators, Trainers, Range Officers, Sport Shooters and Hunters.

For the more severe circumstances, for example during the use of large caliber gunfire, artillery fire or explosions, the optional Neck-Cord has integrated full block stoppers which, when inserted in the filter-opening, provide full block sound protection of 20 dB NRR attenuation. The Neck-Cord also provides a practical solution against loss, making the plugs ready on-demand.

Made for comfort – featuring a one size fits all viscoelastic memory foam tip, combined with DEC’s ambient mesh technology (which allows the ear to remain ventilated), Filtered Foam Shooting delivers all day comfort in any condition.

The ergonomic viscoelastic Filtered Foam tips are simple to insert, as they don’t require rolling or molding before insertion.
