* Are Ear Impressions Included?  Yes! In most locations, the cost of ear impressions is included in the product price. In some areas, a small surcharge may apply. We have a wide network of fitting points and clinics across Australia. After placing your order, we’ll provide the details of the nearest clinic for your convenience.

Like the ER4SR, the ER4XR is built with precision machined, anodized and laser-etched aluminum bodies and features user-replaceable detachable cables. The ER4XR also incorporates the stringent channel-matching standard used in the ER4SR. The ER4XR is ideal for anyone looking for exceptional sound quality with just the right amount of low-end enhancement.

Accurate Earphone Reproduction

For earphones to have 100% accuracy, a recording of a live performance must produce exactly the same sound at the eardrum as the original performance. To achieve this, the acoustic properties of the ear must be factored in. The acoustic resonance and horn effects of the ear change a flat audio signal entering the open ear into sound with a (2700 Hz) high-frequency boost, which is the same response heard at the eardrum in a typical ear.

Pristine Sound and Unmatched Comfort – Perfect for Music Lovers!

I've been loving my ER4XRs with custom ear-molds for a year now. They are very comfortable and the closest I've ever experienced to plugging music straight into my brain. The quality of sound is pristine and is almost never compromised by external sounds. Long haul plane flights are a pleasure with quiet music playing in the background and no audible noise from the aircraft. Be mindful that these shouldn't be used when awareness of your surroundings is required. With music playing you hear nothing of the outside world. These earphones are a little costly but are an enduring pleasure for the music lover on the go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
